Business Office Manager
Parkvue Community is looking for a Business Office Manager to join our team. Parkvue is a faith based, nonprofit continuing care retirement community located in Sandusky, Ohio. Parkvue is owned by United Church Homes who is proud of providing over 100 years of service devoted to older adults. Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Business Office Manager is to maintain accurate accounting records in the accounts receivable system to ensure proper billing of private pay statements, Medicare, Insurance and Medicaid claims. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provides daily census reporting.
• Makes daily deposits and is responsible for accurate recording to resident accounts.
• Performs data entry and completes daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Assist residents and/or responsible parties with Medicaid application process.
• Works closely with the County Medicaid Caseworkers.
• Responsible for generating all Medicare, Insurance and Medicaid claims.
• Collection activities for private pay balances.
• Maintains accurate records to ensure timely closing at month end.
• Supervises resident accounts administration and is responsible for timeliness, accuracy and regulation compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of all Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Maintains conscientious punctuality and attendance within the standards of the personnel policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Two years of experience in skilled nursing required, with a focus on Medicare, Medicaid and other 3rd party insurance, College degree preferred.
Must have excellent organizational skills, superior customer service skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and have the ability to lead others. Must be able to meet pre-employment standards including but not limited to drug screen, physical, background check, and references.
