Are facilities required to maintain the vaccination records onsite for all contracted vendors? 

We Answered

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has confirmed that facilities are not required to maintain the vaccination records onsite for contracted staff. The facility is required to track and securely document the required vaccination information. If the contracted staff member is selected for review during a survey then the facility must be able to obtain the necessary documentation at that time. The facility must track and securely document the following information:
