Next Week is Final Deadline for UNC Economic Impact Study

As noted previously in The Source, LeadingAge Ohio has partnered with the University of North Carolina, with assistance from Scripps Gerontology Center, to complete an Economic Impact Study. LeadingAge recognizes that providers receive many survey requests, but this one in particular is extremely meaningful to LeadingAge Ohio’s advocacy work, and to your individual organization.

This LeadingAge Ohio Board of Directors-commissioned study will examine the economic impact of LeadingAge Ohio members, the potential members have for creating jobs, and the degree to which our membership impacts Ohio’s economy, as well as your local community’s economy. The study will provide us with a detailed report which can assist in informing our conversations with public officials by better demonsrating the impact of aging services on a statewide level and within individual communities.

Giving our membership a strong voice at the Statehouse is key to developing more sound aging policy, and this study has the potential to be a strong tool.

If you participated in the LeadingAge national member survey, we ask you to complete this authorization form to share the pre-submitted data, and also to submit this additional data required from your organization.  This data focuses on the financial attributes of your organization. Multi-site organizations can respond for all individual organizations within their system.

If you did not participate in the LeadingAge national member survey, this is the data required

Please send your complete data and authorization form to Dr. Allan Parnell from the University of North Carolina at allanmparnell@gmail.com before November 22, 2019. Thank you for your assistance in helping us to give a stronger advocacy voice to our membership. We are excited to share the results from this powerful study.
