Executive Director, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

The Executive Director/LNHA serves as the primary leadership and operation director at Parkvue Community.  This position is responsible for managing, directing, facilitating, supporting and coordinating all activities of the community ensuring that marketing, occupancy, quality of care, hospitality, strategy, financial and human resource objectives are achieved, while maintaining compliance with all local, State and Federal laws and regulations, and United Church Homes, Inc. policies.

Essential Functions Include

  • Performs duties in managing business related activities that achieve UCH's vision-mission-values and supporting strategies, and assists in promoting the community in a manner that encourages ethical and high-quality health care, hospitality and resident services
  • Completes forms, reports, and other documents, including State licensure reports, monthly financial reports, licensure surveys, plans of correction, responses to Central Office requests, and replies to residents' council, etc.
  • Completes community walk-throughs to assess resident and family satisfaction, and to address complaints or other issues; Refers complaints and issues to appropriate department head or other team members and follows up.
  • Initiates annual goal setting and performance management activities with leadership team members
  • Recommends development and advancement opportunities and compensation for employees as merited, recognizing and rewarding initiative, innovation, customer service and goal achievement
  • Serves as liaison in the communication of organizational objectives and initiatives to stakeholder groups including but not limited to: Resident's Council, Board(s), or external constituents. Receives, investigates and responds to resident, family and employee complaints
  • Maintains effective communication with residents, family members, employees and other key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • Five (5) plus years of experience
  • Must obtain and maintain mandatory State and Federal requirements and certifications for practice or occupation; Must possess a valid driver's license.

Must have excellent organizational skills, superior customer service skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and have the ability to lead others. Must be able to meet pre-employment standards including but not limited to physical, background check, and references.
