Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by Vinson Hall to conduct an executive search for a Chief Executive Officer.
Vinson Hall is a highly regarded not-for-profit Life Plan Community supported by the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation and located in McLean, Virginia. Offering the full range of services: independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, memory care, respite care and home care, Vinson Hall is home to approximately 400 residents with a dedicated staff of 280. The community is open to retired military officers, their families and to leadership-level government employees from any federal agency (GS-14 and higher), allowing those who have spent a career serving their country to continue to enjoy life on their terms.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for guiding and monitoring the overall operations of Vinson Hall as well as coordinating the strategic plan in order to further the organization’s mission. The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in business management, health care or related field (Master’s highly preferred) and a minimum of five years’ experience in an executive-level position. Our finalist will be a strategic thinker - a collaborative and visionary leader who seeks creative ways to address the needs of current and future seniors and embraces “out of the box” approaches to the diversification of services and continued organizational growth. A person of integrity, compassion, and care who embraces Vinson Hall’s core values, the finalist will be a consummate professional with knowledge of top management administrative practices and procedures and is confident in decision-making.
