Administrator

Located in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Fairhaven Community is a not-for-profit, faith-based, mission-driven senior living community offering independent and assisted living, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation and holistic, person-directed memory care services on its beautiful campus. As part of the United Church Homes family of senior living communities, Fairhaven Community’s mission is to transform aging by building a culture of community, wholeness and peace. The community is comprised of 150 skilled nursing beds (22 semiprivate and 106 private) with a 22 bed Fast Track Rehab wing, 32 assisted living apartments, 30-room memory care neighborhood, and six independent living homes. Fairhaven Community earned the 2018 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations of United Church Homes, the Administrator will assume the direction and oversight of the campus including the skilled nursing facility, assisted living apartments, and the memory care neighborhood. As a dually certified nursing care facility, the top priority is to service resident members by providing the best quality care and experiences. Fairhaven Community also seeks to optimize its daily census management by offering available suites for short-term, post-acute care.

The Administrator must be a person whose personal and professional life exemplifies the importance and dignity of service. By example and through leadership and direction, the Administrator will be a person of high integrity who is confident, relaxed, and positive in their approach to issues and people and capable of instilling a service ethic in all health management and staff. The successful candidate must be licensed as an Ohio Nursing Home Administrator and hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or health-related field, as well as have three years of executive management experience in senior living or health care and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative, performance-driven leader to join an organization that at its core is highly committed to supporting older adults.
