Director of Marketing
Parkvue Community located in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Director of Marketing to join its leadership team. Parkvue Community is a full life plan community with independent, assisted and skilled healthcare offered on a beautiful suburban campus. The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning and implementing programs to promote the community and build occupancy across all the continuum of residential and care services.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements annual strategic marketing plans to meet identified census budget goals
- Coordinates and conducts marketing events
- Markets facility to current and potential referral sources including, but not limited to, physicians, hospital discharge planners, hospital staff, government agencies, home health agencies, trust officers, attorneys, insurance companies, clergy, etc. and keeps a record of such visits
- Builds awareness for the community among older adult consumers
- Recommends and coordinates production of effective advertising and sponsorship plans
- Coordinates the development of advertisements and all marketing collateral
- Develops relationships with community groups (civic, senior citizens, etc.) to promote Parkvue Community and develop new referral sources
- Makes presentations to groups regarding the community’s key service lines
- Monitors inquiry, admission and census trends as part of continuous performance improvement and reports monthly progress in meeting census goals
- Oversees database of referral sources, leads and community resources
- Participates in department budget planning and expense management
Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school): Required
Experience:
Three (3) years or more of related experience
Certifications & Licenses:
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must obtain and maintain mandatory, state and federal requirements and certifications for practice or occupation.
Other Requirements:
Sales experience, particularly in health care services, products or pharmaceuticals is desirable; Must be an excellent communicator and collaborator who can read, write, understand and speak the English language; Must be able to work closely with Administrator, Director of Nursing, Admissions Coordinator, families and facility employees at multiple sites; Must function independently, have flexibility and personal integrity; Must be able to adhere to all terms and conditions set forth in the United Church Homes Employee Handbook.
