Chief Executive Officer

Florida Presbyterian Homes is an accredited entry-fee continuing care retirement community located on a 48-acre campus along the shores of Lake Hunter in Lakeland, Florida. Established in 1955, FPH has a rich Christian heritage of serving elders. Approximately 300 senior residents live in the 109 homes, 66 apartments, 43 assisted living apartments and 68-bed health center. FPH has an annual revenue budget of approximately $15.5 million.  

Accountable to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for financial and operational oversight of the full organization. (S)he develops cooperative and close relationships within the Lakeland and surrounding communities with the aim of improving the lives of all residents and building on its current exceptional reputation. The CEO is primarily responsible for evaluating growth opportunities for the organization, establishing a vision for the future, leadership and mentoring of a highly committed team, maximizing operational performance and any other duty which fosters the well-being of patients/residents/clients, families, staff, and volunteers associated with the organization. With enthusiasm for results-oriented performance, the CEO will be a collaborator and “walk alongside” staff and engage regularly with residents. The finalist candidate will possess a high level of personal energy and can hit the ground running in today’s complex and competitive health care environment. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field is required (Master’s degree preferred).
