Hospice & Palliative Nurse Review Course
The course is designed for nurses preparing to take the Certification Examination for Hospice & Palliative Nurses and supports hospice and palliative nurses’ growth in their overall knowledge of the specialty. Course topics include, but are not limited to: patterns of disease advancement, identifying goals of care, pain and symptom management, grief and bereavement, and ethical issues at the end of life. Incorporated throughout the course are practice exam questions similar to those that are on the HPCC certification exam so that participants will be prepared when it is time to take the exam.

The course is designed for nurses preparing to take the Certification Examination for Hospice & Palliative Nurses. It is also valuable for other hospice staff desiring a better understanding of hospice and palliative medicine symptom management.

Additional Workshop Information
10.5 contact hours will be awarded upon successful completion.
Criteria for successful completion: Submission of completed evaluation form. Credit awarded commensurate with participation, as allowed by professional board.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy: Substitutions, in writing, are welcome at no additional cost. Cancellations received by two calendar weeks prior to event date will be fully refunded. Cancellations received between 7 and 13 days prior to the event date will be refunded minus a $40 processing fee. No refunds will be issued 6 or fewer days prior to the event date.
