    Ohio ends HCIC program

    The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), is providing the attached notice regarding the unwinding of certain emergency flexibilities implemented during the COVID-19 public health emergency, including the elimination of the healthcare isolation center (HCIC) program, which were specially designated nursing facilities that offered isolation and/or quarantine capability in the event of a surge in COVID-19 cases.
